James Baldwin once wrote: “You write in order to change the world, knowing perfectly well that you probably can’t, but also knowing that literature is indispensable to the world…. The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you alter, even by a millimeter, the way …people look at reality, then you can change it.”
I love to play with language. I want to inspire and share my passion for words and stories, because I believe we all have stories to tell. We just struggle sometimes with how to tell our stories, and then how to continually engage with (and connect with) our audience(s).
I’m also the mom and daughter of cancer survivors. I believe life is too short not to be doing something that makes a difference.
